EBF Banking Sector Statistics Database 2011

This year, the traditional EBF Banking Sector Statistics Database is replaced by another one, which relies on the ECB for banks’ balance sheet data and some ratios for the EU-27 countries. Data on banks operating in the EFTA and the EBF Associates’ countries continue being collected from respective national banking associations. This permits better data comparability across the EU-27 Member States and helps to bring forward the date of publication of the Database.
